November 7, 2019 Board Meeting Agenda

The November 5, 2019 Election Certification and Provisional Ballot Hearing will be conducted by Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Pickens County serving as the Pickens County Board of Canvassers on Thursday, November 7th at 9:00am inside the Main Conference Room of the Pickens County Administration Facility (222 McDaniel Avenue Pickens, SC 29671).

The following items are on the agenda:

1. Welcome and Call to Order

2. Invocation

3. Oath of Board of Canvassers

4. Provisional Ballot Hearing

5. Canvass and Certification of Election Results

6. Order any necessary Recounts (only if necessary, based on unofficial results this will not be necessary)

7. Perform any necessary Recounts (only if necessary)

8. Canvass and Certification of Recounted Results (only if necessary)

9. Order any necessary Runoff Elections (Based on unofficial results: Easley City Council Ward 3 between Rick Tate and Patricia Webb and Easley City Council Ward 5 between Nancy Breazeale and Bob Fedder.)

10. Consider the consolidation of 148 McKissick Precinct with the 136 Simpson Precinct polling place (Easley Union Baptist Church ) for the Easley Runoff Election only. The 148 McKissick Precinct only has 2 eligible registered voters for the runoff election.

11. Public Comment Period

This is an opportunity for citizens to come before the Board with various issues. Citizens who wish to speak during the public comment period do not have to register or signup in advance. Each person is limited to 5-minutes of speaking time. Maximum total public comment time is 20 minutes.
