November 9, 2018 Board Meeting Agenda

The November 6, 2018 General Election Certification and Provisional Ballot Hearing will be conducted by Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Pickens County serving as the Pickens County Board of Canvassers on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 9:00am inside the Main Conference Room of the Pickens County Administration Facility (222 McDaniel Avenue Pickens, SC 29671).

The following items are on the agenda:

I. Welcome and Call to Order by Chairperson Chapman

II. Invocation by Board Member Thompson

III. Oath of Board of Canvassers

IV. Provisional Ballot Hearing

V. Canvass and Certification of Election Results

VI. Order any necessary Recounts (based on unofficial results, a recount will be needed for School Board District 7 and Clemson City Council)

VII. Perform any necessary Recounts (based on unofficial results, a recount will be needed for School Board District 7 and Clemson City Council)

VIII. Canvass and Certification of Recounted Results

IX. Order any necessary Runoff Election (based on unofficial results, a runoff election will be necessary for third Clemson City Council seat ).

X. Public Comment Period

This is an opportunity for citizens to come before the Board with various issues. Citizens who wish to speak during the public comment period do not have to register or signup in advance. Each person is limited to 5-minutes of speaking time. Maximum total public comment time is 20 minutes.
