Absentee Voting for Liberty City Council Ward 2 Special Election is Underway

Absentee voting for the July 26 Liberty City Council Ward 2 Special Election is underway.

Every person offering to vote in this Special Election must be duly registered on the County Books of Registration, as an elector and a resident of the City of Liberty, 30 days prior to the date of election. The last day to register to vote for this Special Election was Saturday, June 25, 2016. The election is open to all registered voters of the City of Liberty, regardless of which Ward district they reside in.

In-person absentee voting is available in our office on our voting machines during normal business hours (M-F 8-5). The in-person absentee voting precinct closes at 5pm on Monday, July 25, 2016.

Absentee voting by mail is also available. An application can be requested & printed here:

The last day we can mail a ballot is Friday, July 22nd. A signed application must be submitted to our office before a ballot can be mailed. All absentee by mail ballots must be returned to our office no later than 7pm on July 26, 2016.
