The Board of Voter Registration & Elections of Pickens County has made the following polling place changes that go into effect immediately:
- The Board has permanently moved the voting location of 124 East Pickens Precinct from the Pickens Senior Center (129 Schoolhouse ST, Pickens, SC 29671) to The Mill Church (158 Woodrow ST, Pickens, SC 29671).
- The Board has permanently moved the voting location of 127 Skelton Precinct from the Tri City Baptist Church (1401 Griffin Mill RD, Easley, SC 29640) to the Enon Baptist Church (871 Enon Church RD, Easley, SC 29640).
- The Board has temporarily moved for the June 14th, 28th, and November 8th 2016 Elections the 123 South Pickens Precinct from the Holy Cross Catholic Church (558 Hampton AVE, Pickens, SC 29671) to the Pickens City Fire Station (302 Johnson ST, Pickens, SC 29671) located behind the Pickens City Hall.
In accordance with SC Code of Law Section 7-7-450(C), these changes were approved by the Pickens County Legislative Delegation on April 15, 2016. View the approval letter here.
All registered voters in 124 East Pickens and 127 Skelton Precincts will be issued new voter registration cards notifying them of the change in their voting location. All registered voters in the 123 South Pickens Precinct will be mailed letters. If you have any questions, please contact our office.
