Candidate Filing Period for Municipal Elections -Opens: Noon, July 18, 2013 -Closes: Noon, August 1, 2013 Residents of the municipalities who are interested in becoming candidates will file at the City Hall in the municipality in which they reside and wish to run for office during the filing period.Read More

- Requires S.C. Driver's License or DMV ID
- If you have moved, you must first update your address with DMV
- Online applications must be submitted on or before the deadline to be valid for any specific election. Online voter registration does not "turn off" at the deadline. Applications submitted after the deadline will be processed but will not be valid for that particular election.
